Paris-Toursarrows

Dubbed the “sprinters classic” for its relatively flat run through the Loire Valley from the outskirts of Paris to Tours, the three-kilometer straight down the Avenue du Grammont typically serves up a bunch sprint. The race dates back to the late 1890s and is one of the oldest races on the calendar. It’s the only major race that cycling legend Eddy Merckx started and never won.
